School Assistant by Sun Apps is a simple but powerful school planner app. It allows you to quickly and easily keep track of homework, tests, and your schedule, see and save Google Classroom assignments, quickly access saved websites, and more.
First, as a student myself, I know how hard it can be to pay for these types of apps. So, School Assistant is 100% free: no subscriptions, no paywalls, no premium features, and no ads! There is a tip jar if you feel like supporting, though (these are the in-app purchases the App Store shows).
Schoolwork:
- Manage your upcoming assignments and tests
- Sort by due date, class, category, alphabetically, or manually
- Add a related class, due date, links, and notes
- Schedule reminders
- Highlight upcoming and overdue schoolwork
- Keep an entire archive of your completed schoolwork
- View how many assignments/tests you have right from your Home Screen / Desktop with Widgets
Schedule:
- Keep track of your classes for every day
- Add associated teacher and room information (or, add a link for online classes)
- Automatically switch days based on the day of the week
- Automatically switch between two weeks (great for A/B week schedules)
- Manually switch between up to ten weeks
- See your current class and next class on the Dashboard and with Home Screen / Desktop Widgets
Classes:
- In addition to Schoolwork and Schedule, you can manage your classes with a dedicated feature
- Store your teacher’s name and email
- Store notes for each class
- Assign an icon to each class, which also shows in Schoolwork
Google Classroom:
- Access to your classes’ assignments is built-in
- View assignment information
- Quickly add to Schoolwork with one tap
- One-tap access to view in the Classroom app
- Note: the Google Classroom feature does not affect any other part of the app. You do not need to have a Google Classroom account to use this app. Other third-party integrations are not currently supported.

Two small fixes in this update!
- Fixed a bug where you could not set an alternate app icon
- Fixed an inconsistency with the "Restore” icon in Completed Schoolwork Details
And here’s what was new with Version 3.6:
Hello fellow students! Apologies for the delay in getting this update out, it’s been a busy time for me: college, moving, and a new job!
First, here’s some new features:
- The Mac app is now properly optimized for the Mac! Read the release notes on the Mac App Store for more details!
- Schoolwork now groups your Schoolwork by the due date (overdue, 24 hours, this week, etc.). This can be disabled in Settings.
- iOS: You can now use App Theme Color in Light Mode and Dark Mode
- Added a few new icons to the Class Icon options
And of course, some bug fixes!
- Fixed a bug where you could not delete the last remaining Link in a Schoolwork
- Fixed some issues with the due date countdown in Schoolwork
- Fixed a bug where opening Schoolwork Details in a separate window on iPad would not respect App Theme Color or forced Light/Dark Mode settings
- Fixed a bug where disabling Show Due Time after having set a due time would silently keep that due time, which messed up sorting and countdowns. Now the time used for sorting and countdowns is 11:59:59 PM.
- A few other minor bug fixes here and there

me gustaría que se pudiera tener una visualización del horario completo de toda la semana, con eso sería la app perfecta para la escuela

La mejor aplicación GRATUITA sobretodo si te gusta lo simple y directo
Es una gran app, incluso puedes ahí mismo ver las tareas de classroom o sitios web que consultes mucho por la escuela.
Las tareas/tests y las clases contienen la información necesaria y todo es muy fácil y rápido de editar y configurar.
Solo agregaría widgets específicos para las tareas/test y que las tareas se puedan ordenar por fecha de entrega (no de elaboración). Y además que hubiera vista previa de la información de clases (de classroom), no sólo de las tareas:D

Fantástica
Me parece que la app está empezando apenas, ya que puedes llegarte a encontrar con algún mini “bug” como que cuando quieres poner un assignment con fecha y hora y le das al save esta no guarda ni la fecha ni la hora y pone el assignment como si se tuviera que entregar hoy, sin embargo y por algo mis 5 estrellas es fantástica en todo incluso tiene la conexión a classroom, conexión al apple watch y un par de widgets muy bien hechos que le dan un look fantástico a tu pantalla de inicio a la vez que te recuerdan cuando y donde serán tus clases, y si tienes tareas o exámenes pendientes.
Yo la uso a nivel universitario y es fantástica, la mejor app de “daily schedule” en mi opinion.
